From the first sketch to the draft in acrylic

After a few weeks break, I’m now back to my Mallorca picture.

I’m doing the basics in acrylic now to add oil paint later. Very important, I always check the perspective so that everything runs to the right vanishing point. The vanishing point is in the middle of the small gate with the round arch in the background.

The colors are not final either, as the final coloring comes with the overpainting in oil.
